Stephanie El Khoury

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Arizona State University, focusing on topics in education.

My work utilizes surveys and randomized control trials to explore key issues in these fields.

In my job market paper, Information Bias and Selection of Female Professors, I study how biased information on professor review websites distorts students’ beliefs and professor choice, and assess whether targeted informational interventions can mitigate these biases in higher education. 

I will present this work at the 2026 ASSA Annual Meeting, and a version of the paper was selected for the AEA Papers and Proceedings. 

I will be on the job market for the 2025-2026 academic year.
